Marlin & Associates Announces the addition of Senior Technology Investment Banker

New York, September 30th, 2003 - Marlin & Associates (M&A), the New York-based investment banking advisory and consulting firm today announced that Paul R. Friday, has joined the firm. 

Mr. Friday began his career at UBS/PaineWebber, where he was one of the early members of the Internet technology investment banking group. Paul then moved to Robertson Stephens where he joined the software group, based in New York. Immediately prior to joining Marlin and Associates, Paul served as Vice President at boutique investment bank, Appleby Capital. In that role, Paul led the banking efforts and was responsible for initiating and maintaining client relationships for a wide range of technology and software firms as well as managing all aspects of transaction execution.

During his career, Paul has advised top management, and boards of dozens of firms in sectors such as Financial Technology, Financial Institutions, Communications Software and Equipment, Enterprise Software, Digital Media, and eCommerce.  Over the past eight years, Paul has advised on over 30 successfully concluded transactions including mergers, acquisitions and divestitures as well as strategic partnerships, and placements of debt and equity.
