Kevin Ashby

Much of the team has been together since shortly after the firm was founded more than a dozen years ago. Several M&A partners have held global C-level and senior operating roles in relevant industry sectors. This deep operating experience combined with extensive transaction expertise enables Marlin & Associates to provide an unparalleled level of strategic and financial advice to our clients as well as execution capability in nearly every conceivable situation.

Kevin Ashby brings to Marlin & Associates over 30 years of international professional experience, extensive hands-on corporate restructuring and turnaround experience, and strategic consultancy expertise in the technology industry. As a global industry leader, he reinforces our philosophy of offering our clients access to advisors that have in-depth expertise in transaction management, strategic consulting; and operating management, all focused on the global information technology industry. Presently, Kevin is an M&A Senior Advisor based in London.

Kevin joined M&A from Saxo Bank where he was the Chairman and CEO of the Asia Pacific capital markets business based in Singapore. Kevin has performed as both a successful entrepreneur and business leader. Prior to joining Saxo Bank, Kevin was CEO of Patsystems PLC where he led a major turnaround, diversified the business by acquisition and returned substantial capital to shareholders. Earlier in his career, Kevin obtained entrepreneurial experience in the software industry. He formed and led WISe E-Commerce, which successfully sold in 2001. In addition, Kevin worked as the Chairman of software vendor Anvil Software Ltd located in London. Kevin is a former partner at global accounting firm KPMG.
