The principals of Marlin & Associates, in charge of software and technology coverage, offer a level of domain expertise not often found in advisory firms.  Ken Marlin, the firm’s Managing Partner, has been providing strategic and financial advice to technology companies for more than 25 years.  Ken also has significant operating experience in the field - having led several technology firms including Bridge Information Systems; Telesphere Corporation; and Telekurs (NA). Afsaneh Naimollah, another of our partners, was the Managing Director/Global Sector Head of the Technologies Group in the Corporate Finance Department of BZW/Barclays Capital for ten years.  Her Group covered 100 companies involved in all sectors of the technology industry. Paul Friday has spent the past 15 years as an investment banker focusing on technology firms. Paul began his career at PaineWebber (now UBS), where he was one of the early members of the Internet Technology investment banking group. He then moved to Robertson Stephens where he joined the highly regarded Software group.  Others at the firm also have significant relevant technology, engineering and banking expertise.
