Leaders need to lead

Our CEO and founder Ken Marlin was recently interviewed by Gregg Greenberg of on the difference between leaders and managers and what Ken calls “Negotiating from the High Ground”. 

In this interview, Ken discusses the benefits of trying to understand the strengths, weaknesses, capabilities and most importantly, the motivations of those you're negotiating against – those on the other side of the table.

He talks about the principle benefits of leading a company – or an investment bank - in his new book "The Marine Corps Way To Win on Wall Street”: 

Taking a stand, speaking truth to power, putting the client’s interests ahead of your own, and doing things the right way, every time, even when its not the easy or expedient way.
